"Senza Segnale" (No signal) is a participatory journalism project that aims to connect those areas that have been forgotten by the media industry and are becoming information deserts. . 

This doesn't mean that nothing is happening in these areas, quite the opposite. This project tells the story of four areas, four resilient communities, involving the communities themselves in building the story, starting from the heart of the territory.

This photo is part of a report on Satellite di Piotello, a municipality east of Milan. They tell the story of young people from immigrant backgrounds for whom music seems to be the only salvation.

No Signal uses these grains of sand to tell a story, reconstructing and reconnecting them with words, photographs, illustrations, audio and video. Four stories to read, see and hear on IrpiMedia, turned into a book and a travelling exhibition.
