The gallery
In July 2023, the Domi Gallery opened its doors in the main square of Città della Pieve, one of the most beautiful and representative villages of the Umbrian and Italian art panorama. Città della Pieve is the town that gave birth to Pietro Vannucci (known as Perugino). Today it is still an important place for cultural exchanges, where art permeates the alleys, squares and streets.
And it is here, in the palace where "Il Divin Pittore" was born, that Mimmi Moretti, the internationally renowned photographer, has decided to open his Domi Gallery, a synergic space that wants to share experiences with both artists and customers: the art exhibited here leaves room for interpretation and wants to involve people.
In our vision, art is not just a distraction from everyday life, nor an aesthetic element to decorate our homes, but a tool to raise awareness, to make everyone think, to enable everyone to discuss our ideas and beliefs, sometimes provocatively, sometimes covertly. Art poses the questions, we answer them according to our desires, our needs and our experiences.
