 ARTIST
Mimmi Moretti was born in Catania in 1966 but he spent his childhood in Paris where he got his cultural and photographic education. Later, he moved to Rome where he became passionate about photography art approaching to the camera obscura. At the end of the 90s he started experiencing the newborn digital technology. In 2014 he exhibited his photographs for the first time in Milan and in London.

His research correlates portrait and architecture, passing by Street photography style and keeping a strong interest for social and environment issues, to arise reflections about on contemporary times. During the years he carries on his carreer as photographer alternating between commercial work and personal projects with exhibitions in italy and in Europe. In a lot of them he received national and international awards like the Silver Prize PX3 Prix de la Photographie Paris and the TIFA Tokyo International Photo Awards, among publications for Vogue and Lens Culture.
