Italo Insolera, the renowned urbanist who wrote the celebrated essay Roma Moderna, published by Einaudi, was also a photographer. Throughout his life, he took thousands of photographs for his urban studies and to inform the drafting of numerous reconstruction plans, which he signed as the designer.
