OPERA:
On 15 September 2008, the American bank Lehman Brothers, a monument to global finance, collapsed, leaving a hole of 600 billion dollars. Wall Street's greatest fear became reality: the collapse of a major bank throws financial markets and the global economy into turmoil. The story of the collapse of a great, old and important institution is fascinating because it was once considered eternal.
This giant credit card brings together the fifth essence of the eternal appetite of ruthless capitalism. It is realised with the 3D technology "TouchFeel" in order to demonstrate its elements.
ARTISTS:
Harissart is a project born out of the friendship between Yoan Tanuji and
Abdel Benkhedidja. Their inspiration comes from the iconography of the
people, in fact their creations are largely inspired by memories of their
youth and, more generally, of the 90s. But the themes of currency,
money and luxury also play a central role. Their works denounce the
power of capitalism, often parodying and sometimes even ridiculing it.
They want to distort, modernise and adapt objects straight from the past
in order to provoke an emotion, a feeling, to revive or create a good
memory.
