ARTISTA
Mauro Molle was born in Rome on the 28 November 1977.
A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome and at the School of medal arts at the Poligrafico and Zecca dello Stato, he began his artistic activity as a painter in 1998 and soon began to exhibit his works in Italy and abroad. Between reality and magical appearance, Molle registers and interprets modern symbols like ancient figures, "no-time myths", emblems transformed into short-lived consumer products: heroes born and dead, products presented as totems metabolised but never digested.
London, Athens, Dubai, Berlin, Milano, Bologna, Roma are just some of the cities where his work is exhibited. In the meantime he's been studying the calcographic engraving in a famous printing house in Rome. He also has a lot of experience in the field of illustration, especially for children.
Today he works and lives in Roma.
