What can you find at Domi Gallery?
We present a series of shots taken during 2018 that gave life to the "Visioni Urbane" project. It's about the Japanese capital and its inhabitants, to highlight the aesthetics of the place with its huge architecture, urban geometries, vibrant colours, artificial night lights, subway and lifts; to express debated social issues such as the incessant pace of work, the loneliness in the big metropolis, the lack of offline communication compensated by online, the alienation and the anonymous crowds of passengers.
The photo series 'Alone', 'Lift', 'People' and 'Subway' are just some of the infinite stories present in the project.
The images have been exhibited at the MIA Photography Fair, Milano Photofestival, Treviso Photographic Festival and at the Museo del territorio in Cormons. Some of the photographs won important prizes in international competitions: 1st place at the Chromatic Awards, 2nd place at the Fine Art Photography Awards, Silver Prize at the PX3 Prox de la Photographie Paris, Honorable Mentions at the International Color Awards and ND Awards, Nominee at the Spider Awards
